     At Pimpalgaon Baswant in Niphad taluka,Nashik district, 'Baswant Honey Bee Park and Beekeeping Training Center' and 'Baswant Agriculture Tourism Center' have been set up in collaboration with 'Poorva Chemtech' and 'Greenzone Agrochem'.  The center has been recognized as the first api-agri tourism center in the country.  The tourism center is built on two acres near Mukhed Road near Pimpalgaon Baswant town known as Draksha Pandhari.

      While giving information about this Api-Agri Tourism Center, Director Mr.  Sanjay Pawar said that the importance of bees in human life should be protected and conserved by reaching everyone and the agricultural income increases to a large extent by conserving bees.  Mr. Pawar said that the purpose behind this is to show gratitude to bees.  This project has been built keeping in mind school and college students, farmers, women, youth, urban and rural communities and senior citizens.


Tourism Festival, State Level 'Madhukranti' Seminar, Honey Bee Festival, Baswant Fruit Festival, Grape and Raisin Festival, Headmaster/Principal Council, Tourism Festival, Painting Competition and many other activities are organized at this place.

Grape Festival, Mango Festival and many other activities are conducted throughout the year.  Mr. Pawar said that in view of the increase in production through pollination by bees, a fully equipped Baswant Bee Training Center has also been established for farmers, students and unemployed youth in Baswant Honey Bee Park.  Through this training center many youths have been trained and employment opportunities have also been provided.  Shri.  Pawar said.


Built on two acres, Baswant Bee Park has realized the concept of sustainable village development through various concepts of human nutrition of bees, healthy honey, increase in production of various crops and self-employment.

This bee park has a documentary film about bees, life cycle of bees, bee colony (apiary), replica of bee village, bee village: The concept of 'Bee Village' is here to understand how all the farmers of the village can come together and do beekeeping.  There is also a section explaining bee city replica, B-Plant Nursery - Seed Bank, Dorsetta Point, Agya bee replica, bee painting zones like rural culture and bee work through Warli paintings.  Bamboo, Stone, Paper Painting, Museum of Artifacts, Library, Rest, Play Area, Baswant Cafe, Food Court, Madhuban, 'Beeni' and 'Beeniverse' (Selfie Point), a short film about bees are here with various attractions.


Apart from this, the food and sales department here has various facilities like outlets and cafes, Madhuban Food Court, Visawa, souvenir shop, game zone cafe.  In Baswant Agricultural Industry Tourism Center, the concept of self-sufficient ideal village of 'Sevargaon' which underlines the important ideology of 'village rich, country rich' has been presented through replica.  Recently, employment generation has been largely through processing industries.  For this, a medium-sized food processing unit, a honey processing center, and a chocolate factory have also been set up and training facilities have been provided.  Information about grapes, currant production process and different types of currants are arranged here.

A perfect introduction to the agriculture-based bull-culture, which is a vital means of livelihood for most of the rural people, is introduced to the new generation through the sculptures of bulls displayed in the Baswant Garden.  Exact replicas of various breeds of bulls in India along with their information can be seen here.  Along with this, there are sports zones, large fruit replicas, rabbit farming, tuk-tuk vans etc.  It includes various attractions.


Agri Tourism-Api Tourism will complement the farming community in the area through the perspective of 'Community Tourism'.  This project will be a guide as well as a motivator for the agri-tourism sector in Maharashtra.  Shri.  Pawar said. Many tourists visit the place with their families and school-college trips also come here.

A ticket is required to visit Baswant Honey Bee Park and Agri Tourism Centre.  100 rupees ticket for entry only and 5 to 12 year old children entry fee is 50 rupees.  is  It does not have access to the game zone.  A ticket of Rs 200 is applicable for all age groups to enter the game zone.  After that there will be a guided tour of both projects including all game zones, factory visit, bee garden to Baswant Garden by tuktuk van.  Plus there will be a welcome drink and 4th tea, all in a package worth Rs 600.  Children from 5 to 12 years will have a ticket of Rs 400.  Both tickets (600 and 400) will be given 2 coupons worth Rs.100.  This coupon can be redeemed at Madhuban Food Court, Baswant Cafe, Souvenir Shop and Baswant Outlets at City Center Mall.


'Baswant Garden Appi-Agri Tourism Center' has been noticed at the national level.  Baswant Madhmashi Udyan has received the 'Responsible Tourism Award' given by the prestigious International Center for Responsible Tourism. Sanjay Pawar, Executive Director of Greenzone Agochem, presented the award to World Travel Market Advisor Harold Goodwin and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Usha Thakur at a program held in Bhopal.  accepted  Baswant Honey Bee Park was awarded a silver medal in the category 'Enhancing Tourism's Contribution to Natural Heritage and Biodiversity'.  Apart from the 'Kirloskar Vasundhara Mitra' award, the project has received some other many awards.
